I figured I would dedicate one of these blog posts to inform people on how to write good captions in photojournalism. Photojournalism isn’t just about finding the right place and the right time to capture the perfect shot, it’s much more than that. These photojournalists can bask in their glory of capturing a great image, but their job isn’t done just yet. They need to have an open spot in their mind for the textual aspect of being a photojournalist. Writing captions is never easy, especially when the photojournalist wants to strengthen the photograph with a caption, and not weaken it.
